How To Download Videos From Flickr

Flickr has allowed users to upload videos beside their photo collections. Normal users are allowed to upload 2 videos a month while pro users can upload unlimited number of videos (Videos should be smaller than 150MB). These videos are good quality and there are chances that you will like some videos on Flickr and like to download them to your computer. Here is a simple method to download videos from Flickr.

Step 1: You will need to download and install Orbit Downloader. After installing run the Orbit Downloader.
Step 2: Go to the page on Flickr that has the video which you want to download. You will see a Grab button on the top of the video as shown below.
Click on the Grab button above The Flickr video.

Step 3: A new window titled “Grab++” will open. If Orbit Downloader asks you to refresh the page, do so by pressing F5 key.

Return to the “Grab++” window and click on the video file to download it. If you see many files in there, the file with extension .FLV is the video file that we need. So select the file and click download in Grab++ window to download the video.

That is it. This video is a flash video so you will need a FLV Player to play this video or you can also play FLV files in Windows Media Player now.
