Nokia 5800 Firmware Update to V31.0.008

The new firmware update for Nokia 5800 XpressMusic is V31.0.008 which is available OTA (over the air). It is 6MB. You can alternatively update your 5800 through Nokia Software Update which is 100MB in size.


Nokia 5800 has UDP (User Data Preservation) but you are still recommended to backup your data before updating. For OTA update, type *#0000# from the dialler and check the updates. The new things in this version include.

• Nokia maps is updated to Ovi map 3.1
• Ovi store client is updated to v1.05(231)
• Some performance improvements including more RAM and other optimization.
